MEET THE BOOKWORMS
Owner, Debbie Sporich
A lover of words, a student of life, a collector of dictionaries, the wife of Bill, I love to laugh and I take a book to the movie theater. I ride a pink Honda Scooter. I am a sometime artist that plays with watercolor and I create personal meditation boxes. I wake each day (grumpy) but eventually find my groove and I love what I do. Life just doesn't get any better than this. I am a born and bred Montanan, raised in Augusta. I attended the University of Montana in Missoula, then moved to the charming town of Dillon, an area full of history and local authors. I love to help others find that perfect book. I don't require a lot of sleep which gives me plenty of time to read. I host Debbie's World of Words on KDBM-KBEV radio stations and as a bibliophile I know I have the perfect job. |
Bookstore Clerk, Mary Sporich
Meet Mary! She is my sister-in-law. How lucky for The Bookstore when she retired from a career in banking and joined us on Idaho Street. She is the reason our small used book exchange is so organized and is the creative eye behind our displays. (she also attempts to keep me organized and for those of you that have seen my desk I may be a lost cause!!!) She loves a cozy mystery, her daughters and grandchildren and raises the most beautiful flowers . Many of us in Dillon reap the rewards of her green thumb and enjoy the bounty from her garden. |
For me, owning a bookstore fills me up. There are so many books and so little time! I love putting people together with a book that fits them. |
